Rotary’s Demotion Party Salutes Moshir
The Rotary Club of San Marino recently celebrated the accomplishments of outgoing president Gilda Moshir during the Rotary’s traditional Demotion Party held at San Marino Community Church. About 50 people welcomed the new president Denise Wadsworth and enjoyed listening to 13-year-old Steven Li perform on the erhu, a two-stringed bowed musical instrument known in the Western world as the Chinese violin.
The group also presented a check for $6,000 to La Casa de San Gabriel Community Center.
