Sneaking a Peek of the Showcase House
Nearly 500 design enthusiasts and patrons of the arts were treated to a sneak peek of this year’s Pasadena Showcase House of Design estate at the organizers’ annual Empty House Party. The home — a 1915 Mediterranean-style estate known as “Overlook” — will shortly begin its transformation at the hands of interior and exterior designers for the annual home-tour fundraising event.
At the party, guests viewed renderings, color selections and fabric swatches while enjoying culinary offerings by Cynthia Brooks Distinctive Catering. The Pasadena Showcase House, a benefit event for music programs, will be held April 22 through May 20. Tickets cost $35 to $45 and can be purchased at pasadenashowcase.org.
